Skanto | Faithfull Diamond Sharpening Stone

The Faithfull Diamond Sharpening Stone Kit is perfect for quick, easy and hassle-free sharpening of all types of blades and many other tools. The double-sided, 8 mm thick metal stone is electroplated with monocrystalline diamond in two grits, 400G Coarse and 1000G Fine. Both sides can be easily accessed by releasing the stone from the docking station and flipping it over.

The advantage of this stone over a traditional sharpening stone is that the sharpening surface remains perfectly flat and will not 'dish' over time. This is crucial for maintaining a consistent, straight edge on precision cutting tools such as woodcarving gouges and plane irons.

Diamond stones can sharpen carbon steel, HSS and tungsten carbide tools, and they can also be used to hone glass, ceramic tiles and porcelain, either dry or with water as a lubricant. It is ideal for general sharpening of knives, scissors, chisels, plane blades, cutting blades, TCT cutters and any tool that requires a sharp edge.

Supplied with a convenient storage pouch and docking station. Built with three solid, non-slip rubber pads and robust steel rods, which are fitted with easy-grip wing nuts for accurate and firm clamping of the stone. Adjustable, it accepts stones from 135 to 216 mm in length and has a 6 mm deep recess to provide a secure and stable base for all sharpening operations.
