Specifications:
- Cutting length - from bottom of bottle to cutting point: 5".
- Cutting diameter for round glass bottles or glass jars: 0.5" to 2", assuming you cut from both the top and bottom of the glass bottles and glass jars.
- Fits most round glass bottles for beer/wine/spirits.
Step 1: Adjust the machine and scoring
The tool is designed to create a score line on the bottle at the desired location. You simply adjust the glass cutter stand to the desired length to cut and place the bottle on it, then adjust the depth of the machine so that the cutting wheel is at the desired location on the bottle. Once the cutting wheel is in the correct location, begin to slowly spin the bottle. Rotate it 3-5 times using moderate pressure and patience.

Step 2: Separation
The best method that gives the most consistent results is to simply pour hot and cold water over the score line alternately. This cycle of hot and cold water will cause the bottle to crack along the score line. Thicker glass may take more cycles.
Step 3: Finishing
Now that you have separated the two halves with a cut-resistant, use sandpaper to smooth out the glass edges.
